Two killed and four injured as another Mass shooting happens at the University of Carolina

University of Carolina shooting is the latest Mass shooting incidence after a 22-year-old Andrew Terrell went to a room and opened fire killing 2 people and injuring four in the room.

The 22-year-old shooter was a student at the University of Carolina but he withdrew from the campus earlier this semester. The incident occurred during the last day of campus at around 5:45 Pm. It is for sure that the shooter really knew which building he wanted to attack.

Two people, Riley Howell, 21 and Ellis Parlier 19 were killed on the spot. Four other students were injured during the incidence with two of them getting life-threatening injuries while the other two in a stable condition. The injured student includes Drew Passaro, 19 Sean Dehart,20, Emily Houpt, 23 and Rami Alramadhan, 20.

Riley Howell, one of the students killed during the tragic incidence is now considered a hero after he was killed as he tried to tackle the killer to avoid more people from being shot. The chief of police praised his heroic acts during the press conference

“What you may not hear is the first and foremost hero, as far as I’m concerned, and his name is Riley Howell,” Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Kerr Putney said

The shooter Andrew Terrell is currently under police custody and he has been charged with two counts of murder, four counts of attempted murder, possession of a firearm in an education institution and four counts of assault with a deadly firearm.
