Steve Bannon Praises Trump for Standing Up to Chinese President

Steve Bannon who some people credit for Trump`s 2016 victory is more than pleased with his for boss over the tough tariff talk with China.

On Monday Bannon said that he thinks that day was one of the most important days of Trump’s presidency. Bannon said this in response to Lou Dobbs praise on Trump for standing up to the president of China XI Jiping.

On Sunday Trump announced on Twitter that he was going to increases tariffs on $200 billion of goods from China. Robert Lighthizer United States trade representative confirmed the news on Monday in a briefing that the administration plans to hike the tariffs on Friday.

Bannon and Dobbs praised Trump for not giving in to pressure from business groups and experts who warned him of the negative impact his decision would lead to if he increases the tariffs and also which could lead to a budding trade war.

Dobbs said that Trump is the man they elected and that he is a great president. Bannon said that the president sees the tariffs as more than taxes and he said that the trade maneuver is about the empowerment of the working class citizens.

Bannon also said that the Chinese broke every deal they made under the previous presidencies, but Trump, on the other hand, had decided not to go along with it.

He went ahead to add that this is a very big week, especially in American Economic History.
